Analysis of forces and means of Integrated Rescue System basic components, emergency scopes

The thesis deals with brief analysis of forces and appliances of Fire rescue service, Police and Emergency medical services. Operations concerning collaboration of IRS bodies in the emergency are also described. The author points out on fire technique, which is outdated and that need restoration. At the end of this work it is dealt with some advantages and disadvantages of using forces and appliances in present conditions including suggestions for improvement. A case study based on a true incident and involved attendance of IRS is presented in the appendix.

Possibilities of Raman spectrometry application by Fire Brigade Units

Thesis is focused on the application of Raman’s spectometer Ahura First Defender in cooperation with Fire Department. Theoretical part describes principles and development of Raman spectrometry and possibilities of its application. Practical part focus on identification of unknow substances in case studies and interpretation of the results. Final part of thesis evaluates contribution of Raman spectrometry for fast indentification of unknow compounds for Fire Rescue Brigade in the Czech Republic.

Insurance Fraud in the Field of Real Estate - Deliberately Started Fires

The diploma thesis deals with insurance fraud and issues which comes with it. The thesis is divided into several units. The first part is dedicated to insurance fraud in general, the insurance industry in the past and in the present and legislation in the past and in the present in the area of today´s Czech Republic. The thesis continue with analyzing of fraudulent behavior according to perpetrator and type of insurance. The next is statistical evaluation. In the part “Detection of insurance fraud” are summarized current methods of detection of the insurance frauds used by insurance companies in our market. There were also analyzed insurance frauds according to perpetrator, economic sector and insurance company. In the end is presented the case study of purpose action, suggestions suitable for the fight with insurance fraud and there is also offered as another technical possibility of help not only in the fight with insurance fraud - mathematical modeling of fires.

Selected Parameters Statistical Investigation of Fires Development in the Districts of the Czech Republic in 1997-2017

The diploma thesis "Statistical survey of selected parameters of fire development in the districts of the Czech Republic in 1997-2017" deals with the gaining and evaluation of data of selected parameters on fires in the districts of the Czech Republic in 1997-2017. The amount of fires and the amount of damage associated with these numbers of fires became selected parameters related to individual districts in the mentioned period. The topic of the diploma thesis deals with the field of fires, which can be classified as a class of phenomenon "Segment of emergencies" associated with the theory of "Protection of the population". In the elaborated applied quantitative research, the author evaluated the methodological triangulation (the ratio of the quantity given by the existing theory and the newly processed quality, which means a benefit for the already existing theory) in the proportion of 90:10. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and areas related to fires, which are based mainly on legislative regulations. This section describes the concept of fire protection and prevention in detail. The last section of this part summarizes the basic methods of descriptive and mathematical statistics, which were used in the processing of the practical part of the thesis. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, three hypotheses are verified. The hypotheses were examined on the basis of obtained and statistically processed data published in the statistical yearbooks of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. For the processing of the practical part, the basic methods of descriptive and mathematical statistics were selected, by which these data are processed. In the methodology are listed statistical methods used. The use of the work consists mainly in the verification of the statistical algorithm for fire investigation, the two-dimensional statistical method can be applied to the problems of emergencies. Another benefit could be the design of follow-up work, which would, for example, deal with other parameters of fires such as fires according to the sector where they occurred, the number of deaths or the number of injuries. Description of Fire Brigade of Prague Airport and analysis of its firefighting intervention in the period of 2015-2019.

Title: Description of Fire Brigade of Prague Airport and analysis of its firefighting intervention in the period of 2015-2019. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to give a description of Fire Brigade of Prague Airport. An analysis and evaluation of firefighting interventions at the airport is also provided by means of graphs and tables from 1.1.2015 to 31.1.2019 period. Methods: The data were obtained from an employee of Fire Brigade of Prague Airport. Available literature was studied and a research was carried out. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical data comparison between each year. The data analysis was split according to type and number of interventions for individual years in the period of 2015-2019. Finally, the analysis was evaluated and the data were compared by means of graphs and tables. Results: The output of the diploma thesis is a description and intervention analysis of Fire Brigade of Prague Airport in the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Giving frist aid by Fire brigade of the Czech republic

Giving first aid is a very important point also in car accidents. Members of fire brigade are often the first ones in the place of the accident therefore to do this activity properly and to avoid making the health condition of the injured people worse is very important. The aim of this thesis was to find out the knowledge level of employees working for Fire brigade in the South Bohemian Region, if there are the same conditions for education in professional training at the central and secondary stations and if the service length has an influence on knowledge and practical experience. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part with methodology of the research. In the theoretical part there are described first aid procedures, legal orders which the members of Fire brigade of the Czech republic follow in emergencies, further there are explained terms of emergency service and position of components in rescuing and liquidation work. In the practical part with methodology of the research was necessary to find out if knowledge of members who give first aid is satisfactory. A hypothesis was laid down for this purpose, if the knowledge of members reaches 80 %. A questionnaire for answer the research question was constructed and distributed among 100 members of Fire brigade in the South Bohemian Region. The questionnaire contained 15 questions and was anonymous.

Title: Testing comparison ofprofessional physical performance of selected components of the IRS and the utilisation of acquired knowledge in the Czech Republic Army. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to analyse the ways of testing of the examination of the professional physical performance of selected segments of IRS, their comparison and the potentials of implementation of the obtained results into the Czech Army's conditions. Methods: In this piece of work we have used methods routinely used during the examination of physical activitiesand methods of educational research. Results: The identification of differences in testing of physical performance between the Czech Republic Army and selected groups of IRS and recommendation for the implementation of testing of professional physical performance in the Czech Republic Army. Fire prevention during harvesting work in farms

The topic of the bachelor thesis "Fire Prevention in Harvest Work in Agricultural Enterprises" I chose because of the extreme increase of fires during the harvest works in 2015 compared to the last 5 years. This bachelor thesis solves the research question whether the harvesting works from the point of view of fire protection are protected in accordance with legal regulations. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate PO safety during harvest works and to propose measures to reduce the risk of fires occurring in these activities. The thesis is also focused on technical measures in the course of their own work and providing sufficient water resources for fire fighting. The practical part deals with the problems of fires in agriculture, statistics of fires for the period 2011 - 2015 and their causes. Part of the statistics is the comparison of temperatures and precipitation in the territory of the South Bohemian region for the period 2011 - 2015, which was published by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, which confirms the connection of excessive drought with an increased number of fires. The Bachelor's thesis also mentions the most extensive fire in the South Bohemian region in 2015 - Bavorov, Tourov. The results of the monitored statistics in the practical part show the highest increase of the negligence fires, the technical defects of the harvesting mechanization and the sparkling of the foreign object outside and inside the combines during the drought. For this reason, this thesis compares the current laws, decrees, regulations and standards with already invalid legislation related to the security of these works. As a result, it can be concluded that during the harvest season in 2015, these jobs were not sufficiently secured and the legislation did not deal with them in detail.

Mobile Web Accessibility of the Public Administration Institutions

When we are creating web pages it is important to think about accessibility. It does not matter if it is for normal user or user whose is using assistive technology. Especially if we are talking about public sector web sites which provide important information and have idea of accessibility stated in the public notice. The aim of this thesis is to check if nowadays practices accept idea of one web and its accessibility. Check will be aim on the services and information provided by Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic. Procedure stating the idea of accessibility is 7 years old but technology is still improving. Because of that it is really important to find out how current practices accept idea of one site and its accessibility. Finding will be aimed at services and information provided by Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic and their institutions. Testing of accessibility proceeds in two areas. In first area are selected pages tested for fulfilling the criteria stated in the public notice. In second area they are tested for complying the criteria which takes into consideration improvement of technology. Next is tested compliance with idea of one web site. All hypotheses are not met. Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic and its institutions web sites comply only with hypotheses of one site but they do not comply with hypotheses of accessibility. Main finding is that Ministry of the Interior of Czech Republic and their institutions web sites does not comply with hypotheses of accessibility. It can lead to the worse usage of its web sites.

Title: Historical evolution of fire brigades in Kralupy nad Vltavou Objectives: The main target of the theses is to map the historical evolution of fire brigades in Kralupy nad Vltavou and to describe their current situation with the focus on the way of controlling, staffing and equipment. Methods:I used a method of semi-structured interviews with observers and background research of available historical sources. Results: Historical evolution and description of a current situation is monitored inside five fire brigades - Voluntary Fire Brigade Kralupy nad Vltavou, Voluntary Fire Brigade Kralupy nad Vltavou- Minice, Fire Brigade station Kralupy nad Vltavou, Synthos Fire Brigade Kralupy nad Vltavou and the Fire Brigade of Správa Železniční Dopravní Cesty in Kralupy nad Vltavou.
